We have three online parent courses of different lengths:
- Free introductory course: Parenting for Flourishing Children. This is a short 30 minute presentation, introducing key Parent Hope ideas. A great place to start.
- Cultivating Confident Parenting. This course compares different parenting approaches and outlines how family systems ideas can bring a fresh approach to your parenting. This is a one part course – around 1 hour.
- The Confident Parent Course. This is our signature course that presents the Parent Hope Project ideas with role plays to demonstrate how this different way of thinking can support your child’s wellbeing. The course has four parts, with each part around an hour in length.
Our courses are in online format through a learning platform, which you can work through at your own pace.
The Parent Hope Project is different to other parenting programs as it uses family systems ideas to help you regain confidence in your parenting. It does not tell you techniques to parent by, rather provides principles to help you as a parent manage yourself, taking a worried focus off your child to support their wellbeing and mental health.
A principles focus means the courses apply to all child age groups, from babies through to young adults.
The online training platform we use allows you to work through the content of the course in your own time. Most of the course content is video format, and the Thinkific app also allows you to view content from your mobile device. Login to courses here.
The individual access subscription is for one person (with their partner) to view the course. If you are planning on watching this with a group, please purchase the organisational access.
Logins are not to be shared – if multiple people in the one organisation are using the course at different times, each person showing the course will require a login/subscription.
The Parent Hope Project is a social enterprise – please contact us if cost prevents you from accessing our courses.
